Finalists will be named for each grade category: PK-5, 6-8, and 9-12, and for one STEM Champion. Finalists will receive a scholarship to attend CAST 2017 and a certificate. One
grand prize winner will be selected from the four finalists and will receive
a grant of $1,500 to continue, expand or scale up the winning STEM
connected activity or program.
Finalists will be named for a PK-12 school, a school program, and an informal science program. Programs can be offered by organizations, professional societies, or other non-profit groups. Finalists will receive a certificate and one scholarship for a representative to attend CAST 2017.

Brief lesson plan/s using any format including lesson objectives for a single lesson or for up to 3 lessons across different topics in the grade level curriculum. You may provide other evidence of student work, but the document should be sufficient to show the scope of the work and the promise of success. (Pictures of students at work will not be considered).

If submitting as a team, describe the role each teacher played in one of the lessons described above in #2.
If submitting as an individual teacher, describe your role and the role(s) of the other STEM teacher(s) in one of the lessons described above in #2.
